Samaritan Way has been Joe’s passion and commitment from day one. With his 22-year history of battling addiction, Joe brings the truth of his lived experience to others living in addiction. Joe began his recovery journey in August 2020 and quickly learned of the challenges and lack of resources for individuals seeking support. His ability to work and lead others to their freedom comes from his experiences. His commitment to and leading others in building a recovery program and community bridges those gaps for all seeking recovery.
Joe is directing Samaritan Way in building community partnerships and successes using the power of peer-led programs. Joe has led others to recognize the power of leaders with lived experience as uniquely positioned to truly understand, be trusted, provide guidance, and hope for everyone’s success.
